Happy Batik Day !!

UNESCO has decided that 2nd October is a Batik Day for Indonesia. I love Batik, since every inch of its pattern has a unique style and there was a story and philosophy behind it. 

Batik is amazed me since its pattern and the detail made by handwriting.  And the process of making Batik is manually, including coloring. I just can’t imagine how many time people will spent they time for making one big piece of fabric manually.

And how Batik still does exist until now is just because it is such a heritage cultural artwork.

So now, since UNESCO decided the Batik Day, most people are wearing Batik as their daily clothes. So did our company celebrate the Batik Day by wearing Batik Clothes and they held Coloring Competition for one of Batik Pattern and I joint as their participant :)
