I don’t have any clue how to make the chain stitch on felt. I was searching on Google for its tutorial, but I found it in rarely. Actually, I had learned several stitch creations when I was in Junior High School but since I never use the stitches on my daily life, so it is just out of my head.

I tried many times for its trial-error how to make the chain stitch and now I found the way it is. So, here I shared you the tutorial how to make the chain stitch on felt.

I know I’m not good enough to explain this tutorial in verbal or written, so pictures are the best one.

The most I like with this stitch is it can make any curly line you want with the best way and neat result.

Tag Quotes

I know that anyone of you must be having a favorite quote in life, either me. How does it work into your real life, it depend on your lifestyle since some people only used it for some fun or it has a big influence in their life or even they make it into their values.

I also enjoy every quote that I read in every occasion, every place I go and stop, and every book I read. Until I caught the nice and interesting one that this quote could inspires me every morning, so I would put it up on my wall. As my creativity become my nature, it is a big no-no if I put it out just like as plain as it is, because I know for sure that I will get my bored if my eyes catch it into flat mode :)

So I would like to make a simple tag quote. Very simple and easy, I think, that everyone no need to spend much time and splurge money since all you need is turning on your PC and internet connectivity. Just go browse, find out your fave and print it out!

And I want to share the simply thing in making tag quote into some fancy-looked. Firstly, typed your fave quote in Word Office with your fave style, mine was using Kirsten ITC
and browsed your fave pattern, and tag template.

Just Printed it out, cut and paste.

As we know that the result of simply printed in Office word is black and white colors, except you printed it with a color ink. But in this case, I want to give a color in my pattern, so I painted it with Tosca pen, either both of the shadow of the text and the borderline.

For the backdrop of its tag, I chose the corrugated cardboard as an accent and took the light orange for catching my eyes. Recently I love to combine the crashed-colors instead of matched the tone of colors, and I know that I found the attractive one. I don’t care if people say that it is not a perfect match to combine :)

As I want to put something nice on my tag, I chose the pic and thought that the silhouette of coffee is cool enough and added some curly flower pattern. I just love to add any kind of curly things in my creating and love to work in detail including cut those curly pattern manually.

and... Voila!! This tag quote is ready to hang up on your wall, just simply mix and match your fave pattern, shape, color, and you will get the best one !
